Internet Processing

Internet processing is where a credit card transaction takes place entirely over the internet and no human interaction is necessary to process a credit card. The most common form of internet processing is through an online storefront. If you plan to manually key your transaction in over the internet, then you will need to sign up for a keyed merchant account and not an internet merchant account. We offer two options for internet merchants depending on your products catalog and ticket size.

Option1 - Payment Clearing: Payment Clearing will integrate into your existing website and will add the shopping cart and checkout feature to your website. This is a great option for merchants with a small product catalog, and this system integrates easily into most any website. The checkout process takes place on a secure server, so you don't have to worry about making your website secure. Payment Clearing is a great system because it includes the shopping cart function.

Option2 - Authorize.net: Authorize.net is a payment gateway system that will allow processing credit cards on a website. Authorize.net is one of the largest online payment gateway providers. You will need to have your web designer, integrate authorize.net into your website. There are several methods of integration available, and your web designer will help you determine which is the most appropriate for your business. Unlike Payment Clearing, Authorize.net does not include a shopping cart feature, and your web designer will have to integrate your existing shopping cart with Authorize.net.
